Your citizens now have a big hut to be constructed and will meet in groups when chilling. Animals will not go through the gates ( this feature will be visually enhanced in the future ). Build closed storages and fences around your storage areas to prevent animals from eating your food. Process hides to get leather and dry meat to make it last longer. Scavenge their corpses for food and hides resources. Herds of wild boars now populate your settlement map. We expect Ancient Cities to become a powerful platform for future productions, moving us more and more into the realms of History, exploring different places and ages around the world: Greece, Rome or Middle Ages… Ancient Cities v0.2.1 “Wild boars” is completed! New eras introduce new gameplay and game features over what existed before. It was logic, and it is also highly suitable for the project. We have chosen to start at the origin of cities, in the late Mesolithic era. Both gameplay and detail are important to us. We are developing our own custom render technology for this game because this allows us to render what we envision: Thousands of items on the screen at the same time with nice fps, offering the player breathtaking images of their cities.
